One Touch Ultra Blood Sugar Monitor

Since being diagnosed for type 2 Diabetes I have been using a One Touch Ultra Blood Sugar Monitor to measure my blood glucose levels. In fact I have 2. The normal unit as well as the mini version as it is much more compact for taking out with me wherever I go. I am lucky enough to get all my test strips and lancets free on prescription though I know many people really struggle to get them on prescription from their GP.

It's especially important to measure your blood glucose levels when you are first diagnosed to find out what foods increase you levels. What works for one person won't work for another. In my case, for exapmple, a chicken dinner with all the trimmings hardly registers at all while 2 rounds of buttered toast is good for 2 points. Crazy right? You just can't make any assumptions about how individual foods will affect you until you test for them.

A good method is to take a reading just prior to a meal and then take another 2 hours later. That will show you what the meal has done in regards to your blood sugars. You soon find out what is safe to eat, what is a bit naughty and the absolute no no's. Take a look at my full review of the One touch Ultra monitor over on squidoo for all the details.

Talking Blood Pressure Monitors Guide

Talking blood pressure monitors have their own place in the market. It is important for many people not only the hard of hearing. Of course, all the other things like accuracy, speed and price are all considerations but a talking monitor sets it apart from all the other similar models. They are no more expensive than their competitive brands and are available in a wide range including wrist and upper arm monitors.

I go in some depth on my review of several of the top models and their features along with a good general description of how they work and why it's important to get one. I think it makes a good read and will certainly help in your decision making should you need one. Take a look if you have the time and let me know what you think with a comment or a 'like'.

Panasonic EW3109W Blood Pressure Monitor Guide

Panasonic EW3109W Guide

Blood Pressure

The Panasonic EW3109W blood pressure monitor is one of their top sellers. I always like to look at what sells well as many other people have found it to be a good make and you can usually find user comments both good and bad at online retailers such as Amazon etc.

If it sells in good numbers there is usually a reason why. I don't think there is a better recommendation than from the end users themselves. I will often avoid a product with bad reviews and buy one that is recommended. After all, any company selling a product has an interest in moving stock before anything else normally.

That being said  you could do far worse than take a look at the features and feedback of the panasonic ew3109w as it is an excellent monitor for home use and for anyone who needs to check their blood pressure regularly.

Unlike many other areas where you get what you pay for, blood pressure monitors have to be very accurate and a cheap one will generally serve you as well as a more expensive one. What you will pay more for is extra features which some users may find useful.

Wristech Blood Pressure Monitor Guides

Wristech Blood Pressure Monitor Guides will show you just why a wristech is a good choice for monitoring your blood pressure at home. Not everyone needs to do it but if you are at all worried about your blood pressure levels it's well worth investing in a digital monitor as they are so inexpensive. Online deals for wristech blood pressure monitors will surprise you with how cheap they are. Wrist monitors tend to be the cheapest of the monitoring systems available to you.

Some people have mentioned that they are less accurate than the upper arm type models and this is true in some ways. It ios only that they have a greater potential for a false reading if you are using them incorrectly. If you have taken the time to read how to take an accurate reading you should be fine and the monitor will be as accurate as any other.

I've been promoting my story of how I cam to buy my New Stanwell Freehand Pipe. I made a squidoo lens all about it. I hope you'll enjoy it. It isn't so much a review of the pipes though I do love to smoke them but the story of how I found it. I just hope I don't come across as too much of a beardy weirdy pipe man.

I've been using pinterest and indulgy to create image galleries of Stanwell Pipes to go along with my article. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Omron BP785 Blood Pressure Monitor Guide

Got my Omron BP785 lens re-done over on squidoo. It seems that this is one of the most popular of Omron's blood pressure monitors and I looks like it was a good choice for a review. I discuss the features and benefits of the BP785 along with the ups and downs of blood pressure monitoring in general. I've been promoting it with Pinterest and Indulgy to try and get a good base of readers for the article.

I've been having problems lately with high blood pressure. It's not something that displays many if any symptoms so you have to keep a good watch on it. I know though that when I start to bleed from my extremities it's usually because my blood pressure is getting out of hand again. It doesn't happen often these days as it is controlled by medication but I still have peaks and troughs.

If you have any worries about your blood pressure invest a little money in a monitor and be safe.
